The Tin Hau goddess is considered to be the goddess of the sea and thus is an important symbol and deity in the lives if the people in the area. There are about sixty deities in the temple which all represent the 60-year lunar calendar.

Moreover, you will find out that there are several night markets in the city to make your shopping at night one of interest. There is one just near the Kowloon Tok which stocks all kinds of accessories and items of choice.
